AGSC is responsible for organizing and supporting the former Fort Ord’s public outreach program for ongoing cleanup projects, including Prescribed Burn Program, SMART Team activities, Community Involvement Workshops, and other activities associated with the Ordnance and Explosive Waste (OEW) Remediation, and Superfund Cleanup Program. AGSC’s activities include preparation of planning documents; coordination, planning, and facilitation of public meetings; and preparation of newsletters, flyers or other outreach materials.
