The AGSC staff consists of 300+ technical, management, and support personnel located in offices throughout the world. Our technical staff includes geologists, hydrogeologists, engineers, scientists, construction managers, and treatment plant operators—many with professional registrations, certifications and licenses in their specific disciplines.     Christopher Smith, PG, President and Chief Executive Officer
    Mr. Smith brings more than 20 years of experience managing complex projects in both public and private sectors for general construction, treatment plant operations and maintenance, surface and groundwater hydrology and geology, and hazardous waste site characterization and remediation. In his role as President and CEO, Mr. Smith is responsible for the profitable growth of AGSC, successfully building the company to over 300 employees in ten offices, to date. He has a proven record of getting the job done right the first time, and has received numerous accolades from his clients for his commitment to excellence and quality within budgets and schedules.


    Roy Phares, Vice President (Construction)
    Mr. Phares brings more than 40 years of professional experience in highway, environmental, utility, and general construction. He has a BS in civil engineering and has directed a multitude of major nationwide, regional, and local construction contracts for federal and state agencies, as well as development of economic and feasibility studies on power and industrial plant facilities. Mr. Phares is responsible for all domestic construction projects managed out of AGSC’s Corporate Headquarters.


    Z. Dan Graham, PE, Vice President
    Mr. Graham manages AGSC’s Alaska regional office operations and assists in the management of DOE Programs. He has a BS in Civil Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Alaska, and has more than 10 years of hands-on project management in environmental engineering and construction. Mr. Graham’s technical expertise ranges from a wide range of remedial technologies, to demolition and decommissioning, to unexploded ordnance (UXO) investigations.


    Chuck Holman, Environmental Programs
    Mr. Holman has over 30 years experience in performing environmental and construction contracts in both the private and public sectors. He is experienced in managing complex, multi agency projects ranging from small remedial action contracts to large scale BRAC programs. Mr. Holman has extensive experience with military, environmental and construction projects for USACE and Navy installations.
